About the organization: 

Caesar Families Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to demanding truth, justice and reparations for victims of torture and enforced disappearance in Syria and supporting the families of victims who were tortured and imprisoned in Syrian regime detention centers and who appeared in the Caesar photographs.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation tools and frameworks for ongoing projects.
• Collect, manage, and analyze data to assess project performance and impact.
• Support the preparation of reports related to monitoring and evaluation findings.
• Ensure accountability mechanisms (e.g., feedback and complaint channels) are established and functioning effectively.
• Provide guidance and technical support to CFA teams, particularly department managers, on MEAL processes and tools.
• Support the development of indicators, logframes, and results frameworks during proposal development.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and internal MEAL standards.
• Monitor CFA’s project tracker to ensure it is updated monthly by department managers, with relevant supporting documents properly submitted.

 

Qualifications and required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Buisiness, Statistics, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in MEAL or a similar role within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and visualization.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, KoboToolbox, etc.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and good working knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of the humanitarian context and human rights issues.

 

Terms and regulations:
